1. In 1993, Eastern Laser introduced DC laser production technology for the first time from German Rofin-Sinar Laser Co., the biggest laser manufacturer in the world.

2. In 1994, the first technicians of Eastern Laser were sent to Rofin-Sinar Laser Co. to take 3 months training on laser production technology.

3. In 1994, Eastern Laser was granted a Hi-Tech Enterprise by Nanjing People's Government.

4. In 1996, Eastern Laser took the lead in producing 1,500W industrial CO₂ lasers with long-time reliability and stability under industrial environment.

5. In 1997, Eastern Laser undertook the R&D task of "NEL－1700A Industrial CO₂ Laser" and got success in 1998. The R&D result won the 2nd Prize for Technology Progress in Nanjing.

6. In 1998, 2,000W industrial CO₂ laser was first developed and put into production by Eastern Laser.

7. In 1999, 2,500W industrial CO₂ laser was developed and was launched to market in 2000.

8. In 1999, Eastern Laser successfully passed ISO9002 Quality Management System Certification.

9. In 1999, Eastern Laser undertook the R&D of the project "3KW High-Performance Fast-Axial-Flow CO₂ Laser".

10. In November of 2001, Eastern Laser became standing member of Laser Branch of COEMA(China Optics and Optoelectronics Manufacturers Association).

11. In January of 2002, the project "3KW High-Performance Fast-Axial-Flow CO₂ Laser" passed the acceptance inspection held by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology. In 2003, the project was awarded the Third Prize for Scientific Progress.

12. In 2002, Eastern Laser was granted "Advanced-Technology Foreign-Funded Enterprise" by Nanjing Bureau for Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation.

13. In 2002, NEL CO₂ lasers were granted Nanjing Hi-Tech Products.

14. In July 2002, ERP started to work in Eastern Laser, which better ensured sound production and marketing of our company.

15. In July 2003, Eastern Laser was granted Grade-AAA Credit Enterprise by Jiangsu Far East International Assets Assessment & Consultation Co., Ltd.

16. In June, 2003, Eastern Laser concluded the technology transfer agreement with Rofin-Sinar Laser about RS2000 SM laser production.

17. In August 2003, the Laser Processing Research Center of Eastern Laser was established.

18. In November of 2003, Eastern Laser passed GB/T 19002:94 Reexamination and GB/T 19001:2000.

19. In January 2004, nearly 10 experts of Eastern Laser were sent for SM laser production technology training in Rofin-Sinar Laser until the end of March.

20. In May, 2004, the NO. 1721 set of SM laser, of world-leading level thanks to its application of the complete SKD components of Rofin, came down the production line in Eastern Laser, which is a big progress in China's laser production.

21. In May, 2004, NEL CO₂ lasers were granted Jiangsu Provincial Hi-Tech Products.

22. In August, 2004, Eastern Laser was granted Provincial Hi-Tech Enterprise by Jiangsu People's Government.

23. Our 20 sets of SM lasers of ROFIN-standard have been ordered by domestic and foreign customers since they were launched to market in the the latter half of 2004.
